Curriculum

The normative period of study is four years, and students have to complete at least 123 units and satisfy requirements under separate categories.

For major programme requirement, students are required to complete a minimum of 72 units of courses, including (a) Faculty Package (9 units), (b) Required Courses (27 units), and (c) Elective Courses (36 units).

The recommended course pattern for studying 12 core courses (ECON2011 under Faculty Package, and courses listed under Required Courses) is as follows –

*Students must take ECON2011 and any two more courses, offered by two different Programmes/Departments/Schools, to fulfil the required 9 units of the Faculty Package. Please refer to the details of your admission year’s curriculum.

Students will be conferred Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) upon completion.
