Application for change of major
Students who wish to change their major to Economics must adhere to the application procedures and the deadline published by the Registration and Examination Section: here.
Submission requirements
All supporting documents must be compiled into a single PDF file and uploaded via CUSIS on or before 26 June 2026:
1. Completed application form: https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=13733768. Please save the acknowledgement email in the first page of the PDF.
2. A 1-page letter stating the reason for the transfer, in English.
3. Certificates of any pre university qualifications.
4. Unofficial transcript (downloaded from CUSIS).
Remarks
• No interview will be scheduled by the department.
• Application outcomes will be posted on CUSIS by 7 July 2026.
• Successful applicants must confirm acceptance through CUSUS between 7 – 13 July 2026.
Academic counselling
Students who have confirmed a change of major to Economics must attend the academic counselling session in mid-August 2026. The exact meeting schedule will be confirmed by e mail closer to the date.
