【 Why CUHK-Tsinghua University Dual Undergraduate Degree Programme in Economics? 】
Economics is not just about demand and supply. It is an understanding of every change in our world. It can be applied to studying issues of environment, poverty, and policy. I believe that there is so much further we can go, and so many more ways we can improve the lives of people, by learning economics. Tsinghua University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong are commonly acknowledged both nationally and internationally as two of the best universities in the world. The exact reason that interests me to apply for this programme is how the comprehensive study experience in these two prestigious universities can equip students to land a good job offer after graduation.
After graduation, I want to pursue my postgraduate degree and apply the knowledge that I gain to change the world, to improve our lives, and to narrow the wealth gap.
